DM Drainless Bent Axis Motors
Appiah Hydraulic is now able to offer drainless motors for either single direction of rotation or bi-directional use, under certain conditions and on request

Advantages:
Only two hose lines are required: supply line and output.
The motor is drained through the return line.
It is fitted with a high pressure lip seal..
Flushing Valves (Bent Axis Motor)
Used to create flow to cool the motor. This valve is essential for all intensive uses of motors and contributes to long service life.
The valve takes some hydraulic fluid from the return connection port (low pressure) and reinjects it into the motor housing.
This is then evacuated via the motor drain line.
Flushing Valves are Only Available for use Motors with Side Ports.
Anti-Cavitation Valves (Bent Axis Motor)
Used to create flow to cool the motor. This valve is essential for all intensive uses of motors and contributes to long service life.

Speed Sensors (Bent Axis Motor)
DIN-ISO-SAE Motors can be fitted with an induction type speed sensor.
and to measure rotating speed and also direction of rotation.

This accessory may only be used on motors which are suitably adapted to take it (see the order code system).

Gear motors built in three pieces with an extruded body in high resistance aluminium alloy.

CGM Gear Motors (Cast Iron Body)
Gear motors built in three pieces with cast iron body. The new gear motor series is an evolution of the Appiah Special series.
This project is targeted for forklifts, skid steer loaders and all those applications where traditional aluminium pumps are being pushed close to their limits.
The possibility to mate the body with the cast iron covers further reduces noise levels, in addition to increasing strength.

Industrial and Mobile Motors

40 degree bent axis design giving high power, small overall dimensions, optimum efficiency and economic design.
Flange and shaft designed for direct mounting on truck gearbox PTO's. The fixed displacement bent axis motors generates a hydraulic fluid flow.
It is designed for use in all high power needs, industrial and mobile and all stationary hydraulic applications. The Motor is a fixed motor with rotary group in bent-axis design open circuits.
Flow is proportional to drive speed and displacement.
For axial piston units with bent-axis design, the Pistons are arranged diagonally with respect to the drive shaft. The motor covers the whole displacement range 5 to 130 cm3/rev.
The motor has been developed with modern styling and design to satisfy market demand as to designed new generation plate and pistons with give high flow performance, high pressures with high efficiency and very small dimensions.
The motor is available both to DIN, ISO and SAE world standards and can be mounted either directly at the gear box or any applications.
If necessary it can also be augmented with a Flushing/Purge or Anti-Cavitation Valve. Other brand bent axis motors compatible and interchangeable with Our bent axis motors.
